Accessible Voting: Mencap’s Guide to the 2019 Local Elections
Leading learning disability charity Mencap have today published their ‘Easy Read Guide to Local Elections’, which they have created in conjunction with the Electoral Commission. The booklet aims to help make the upcoming 2019 elections accessible, it includes information about what voting is, how to register and how to vote.
This document is incredibly important, and will help make elections more accessible to many people who might otherwise feel unable to engage in the electoral process.
