Voting Counts Wins Pure Potential Award

Yesterday we attended the Pure Potential Awards in stunning Canary Wharf. Out of the 2000 students that had been nominated Voting Counts’ founder Rachael had been whittled down to the one of the final 45 nominees.
The entire event was a showcase of amazing young people and teachers from around the UK, all of whom were very deserving of being Highly Commended. We were both able to meet some inspirational people who had contributed to society and had overcome adversity to achieve awesome things! – Take a look at the full list of finalists here.
The award for which we were nominated was the Business and Innovation award “for students who have shown great entrepreneurial spirit and a natural flare for business and innovation”. I am very pleased to say that despite there being really impressive nominees in our category we won the award!
It is great to have the work of Voting Counts recognised in such a way, we hope that this award is the first of many. Thank you so so much to everyone that has helped and supported Voting Counts along the way!
